Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me
Oh things are gonna happen naturally
And taking your advice I'm looking on the bright side
And balancing the whole thing
But often times those words get tangled up in lines
And the bright lights turn to night
Until the dawn it brings
A little bird who'll sing about the magic that was you and me

Cause you and I both loved
What you and I spoke of
What you and I spoke of
Others only dream of the love that I love

See I'm all about them words
Over numbers, unencumbered numbered words
Hundreds of pages, pages, pages for words
More words then I had ever heard and I feel so alive
Now you and I, you and I
Not so little you and I anymore
And with this silence brings a moral story more importantly evolving is the glory of a boy

As much as this song was/is played, I will never get tired of it. It's awesome. He's SO young in this video, but he is just precious.

So, I dreamed that Chicksaw Gardens wasn't a was some sort of picnic area or something where like Shelby Farms. Apparently, I was going to it, so I parked in front of a house. I was meeting a friend there, and I can't remember who, because I think this was a dream friend, and not anyone I know in real life. So I went in by myself to meet her, and there was all this really weird stuff going on. There was a group of boys who were throwing stones at each other to see who could last the longest. It was terrible and gruesome, and it looked like they were some sort of gang. Then I saw my friend, and she was so upset. It was her boyfriend that was the initiator of all this stoning, and she had come to find him because he broke up with her for no reason. She understood why he didn't tell her, and was upset, but glad they were not together anymore. So then they started chasing us, and we ran out of this place before they could get us. It seemed like Alice in Wonderland...we could go in and out, but they were stuck in this world. Weird. Then we went to our cars, and we couldn't find them anywhere. So we went to the people who work at this place and they told us our cars had been towed. I thought we had only been there a few minutes, but they told us our cars had been there for days. So I called the towing company, expecting the price to be outrageous, but they told me I only owed them $57.
Then I got REALLY stressed because I was supposed to go to some sort of party later. I was afraid I wouldn't make it, because I had to get my car AND a red dress. I went to the mall, and there were NO red dresses. So I went into another store, and the two girls working there said they would make me on really quick. Then Elise was there, and she needed a red dress, too. We decided to get extra, so we asked for 4. The two girls that worked there were a little questionable, and Elise and I had serious doubts that they could pull this off. A little while later, we checked on their progress, and they were almost done with all 4 dresses. We were surprised to say the least. Then I was somehow in my wedding dress. I remember exactly what it looked like: it was white (duh), had a sweetheart neckline, off-the shoulder sleeves, A-line skirt, and a small train. In real life I would have hated it because it had all that rouching that's all the rage right now. Gross. But I was wearing it because apparently I was getting married, and I was running around in it, rolling on the ground in it, dancing in it....everything. I had no fear that I would ruin it. Then the red dresses were ready in the nick of time, and some girls came out modeling them. I told the girls they could have the dresses.
Then all of a sudden, we were having some sort of dog show or something. All of Elise's dogs were there, and Luna was perfect. They all stayed in their crates until Elise told them to come out, and it was really strange. I remember really weird details of that whole adventure, including the dog of some girl that we hated who was terrorizing Luna.
Then I was at the SMS soccer field, where all these water games were going on with all my friends from Hope. They were on teams, and there were sprinklers and slip-n-slides, and all this weird stuff. Then my friend Joey showed up to watch, and had no idea what any of this stuff was. He is older than me in real life, but in my dream, he was 19-year-old-just-out-of-awkward-homeschooling-Joey, and I sat on the back of his car with him to watch the festivities. Then I took him up to the offices to introduce him to all my friends, but the offices were more like a dorm that anything else, because we lived there. Elise was there again with all her dogs, and they were all staying in their crates with the doors open until Elise told them they could leave.
Then Joey was gone, and it was dark, and I was with Sam in his car, and I was going through his CDs and found RENT, which I thought was REALLY weird. I remember saying that I didn't know he liked it, and he put it in his CD player, and then suddenly, we were on stage playing Roger and Mimi, and singing and it was all strange. I remember that I only looked down at my shoes, which were silver and sparkly. It was also wet on the stage, like it had just rained. But I also remember thinking that Sam made a great Roger...but that's because he would. WEIRD.
Real life news:
If I'm blessed enough to ever find a human that wants to spend the rest of their life with me in marriage, I'm having a destination wedding. All the hooplah is ridiculous. Although dancing with all of my 239575423 closest friends and family must be involved. Not sure yet how it will work out.
