greatest dream ever.

Although you are biased
I love your advice
Your comebacks they're quick
And probably have to do with your insecurities
There's no shame in being crazy
Depending on how you take these
Words I'm paraphrasing this relationship we're staging
And what a beautiful mess this is
It's like picking up trash in dresses...

This one is called "A Beautiful Mess," and he's going to do another live album soon, and it's going to be called that. Yessss

So, this morning I dreamed that I got really last minute tickets to Jason Mraz. And by last minute, I mean that I had already put my pjs on to go to bed for the evening, when someone asked me if I wanted these tickets. Of course I did, so I left in my pjs and went to the concert. It was on this grassy knoll, and Jason was wandering around the concert, singing and writing people checks. I remember feeling that I looked really ugly, especially because I had my retainer in, but lo and behold, Jason was wandering toward me, singing with his checkbook in his hand. He asked me if I wanted a check in the middle of singing, and I said "of course", and he went back to singing. He wrote me a check for $80 and one for $10, but it was only after he left that I realized he didn't sign them. I spent some time thinking what I would spend them on, but I couldn't because he didn't sign them, which was a problem. I thought about forging, but then I thought I would just put them in a scrapbook or something since they were from him. Then I noticed there was a small line in front of something. Obvi, it was Jason, and he was signing things with a helmet on. Since I didn't want to wait in line, I thought more about what I would do with the checks, and then realized that I should get in line to have him sign them. I did, and I couldn't believe it was finally my turn. Here I was, in front of Jason Mraz, my favorite person, and I was wearing my retainer. He asked me how I was, and I smiled, and asked him if he wouldn't mind signing the checks he wrote me. He smiled back at me, and took the longest time signing his name. He was very meticulous about his first name, but then when he got to his last name, he just scribbled it. I asked him if he liked playing in Memphis, and he told me no. Then he signed on to his g-mail account, and gave me his e-mail address, and I asked if I could video chat with him sometime, and he told me sure. Then he showed me a video on youtube, and I thanked him and left, still feeling super self-conscious about my retainer. I don't know why I didn't just take it out.

I have never dreamt about Jason Mraz, and it was wonderful, because I love him!
Since we're on the subject, I thought I'd give you a few reasons why:
2. He really loves the environment, especially water.

3.How can you NOT love a man who gets excited enough about crafting that he hops out of the car to take a picture like this:

4. He wears shortie shorts.

5. He's a flaming liberal.

6. I mean, he willingly puts his awkward school pictures on the internet.

7. He's most likely the weirdest person on the planet.

8. He plays the most beautiful music. AND he can play it while wearing funny hats and air-brushed t-shirts.

So, Jason, I'm sorry that our first encounter was subconscious and while I was wearing my retainer. Next time, I'll take it out, and maybe we can kiss or something.
