So, I just had to tell this very short story from today, because I feel like it gives you a really good picture of what people from SF are like:

My photo teacher, Jack, was calling role, and he got to my name and said, "Ellen Coleperson" without even skipping a beat.

I thanked him for going to great lengths to achieve gender inclusivity, even if it means changing a person's name. Only Jack and one other person besides myself thought it was funny.

So, in case you missed it, there are 2 kinds of people in San Francisco: Feminists (even the dudes) and people who are too stoned to really make sense of anything funnier than a skateboarding doggie (which, let's face it, that's really pretty funny. But you know what I mean).

Lesson learned today, kids: don't do drugs. They fry your brain to the point where you can no longer recognize the best, littlest, silliest things (these are important to me because I heavily rely on them to get me through life) and think they're funny.

Stay clean and keep the dream,
